Increasing Awareness of Global World
I was recently looking at a video that my brother found, and it is from the creater of Gapminder.org... This site is amazing, and video was even better, which shows lots about the environment, money, homeless, deads, and much more.. They try and show data they gather from many other orgs and sites about almost all the countries in the world, and put it very nicely in graphs and charts... For me the first time I saw this I was like this can't be true, they are working very hard on an amazing project that I would be interested in..
Now I don't like this project 100% as they don't take into effort with everything on how the environment and different situations make countries best or worse.. I like on how this is a start in the right direction and in the future this will totally turn into a place where they put even more amazing data down to shape the world.. As I look at this, there are tons of upsides to this, they are always trying to improve their data, and help the poorest of the poor..
One thing I have learned when looking at this, people in the same country can be much better off, then the poorest of the poor.. I feel that we need to change this, so the rich people give some money to the poor to make the county more equal in the end.. The poorer the bottom 20% are, the less the rich are willing to do for them, and that is very sad..
I believe that we need to fix the environment around the poorest 20% in the world before they can really start to grow.. We need to give them water, food, shelter to start off, and then be able to have a class close by so kids and adults can learn what they are missing.. Increasing how much money someone makes isn't going to help them in the long run.. They need knowledge of how to live a better life, which is different for everyone and help improve the quality of life..
Another difference I see is that Women in most countries are treated like a second class citizen and should be treated equally.. If women are gave more rights, and freedom's, they can make sure more of their children are treated more equally.. You have to treat everyone equally, and you creat a society where people enjoy life more..
One person can make a different in the world.. Never let anyone tell you the world's problems are unsolveable because they are not... These people just don't know how to solve the problems, and feel you are wasting your time.. You are not wasting anything, and always be ready for new challenges in this huge world..
