World Aids Day
World's Aid Day is today, and every year there is more and more cases around the year.. Well many countries are fighting to stop Aids, the war overall on this Earth is being lost everyday. We should fight towards making Aids go away, this is one of the top three biggest killers in the world, and will become number 1 if we don't stop this now.. There is no care for this, and all the experts are saying there is no future care that they can see..
We should fight to keep everyone alive as long as possible.. Aids is something that we can fight if we educate people in places where they don't know about Aids... Around the world people are being educated each day on Aids, but doesn't help if there aren't enough resources to go around..
Maybe one day I will be able to visit Africa to help people over there with the Aids problem.. This would be a really enjoyment for me, and just to see how people live there would be nice.. Aids is spreading fast, and we need to cut it down, the only way I see is to Educate people faster..

so there's also another side to AIDS besides prevention -- it's helping those people who already have HIV/AIDS. There are anti-retroviral drugs that can, for many people, make HIV/AIDS a chronic disease rather than a fatal one. They just need to take pills for the rest of their lives.
i just listened to this bbc program which talks about Three By Five -- a program to get anti retroviral drugs to 3 million of the poorest people in the world by the end of 2005. it didn't completely reach its goals, but it's a start. i suggest listening to the program, it's only about 50 minutes.
