World of Hopeless..
I have been reading over the last couple of weeks about the big treaties that have been around in this world for along time.. The best treaty around is the convention of Rights of a Child, and I did a report on that in Grade 9 Geography.. Everything in that treaty is right and there should be no kid that is not able to live a normal childhood.. Even after so many years, there are millions of kids that are left to the wolves and lost in this society...
Everyday I read about how another kid is not having the fun they know they should.. Kids are what make this world go round, if it wasn't for Kids questioning the little things we did then we wouldn't have a better society.. Kids are here and should speak up about anything and everything they are passion about..
I see day in and day out, people in the western world, they go to work or go to school, and never open their hearts.. I understand we need to live off of something, but how is it that kids need to pay to get an education? Why is it that everytime a kid can't afford to go to College or University they aren't given the tools to get their live straight..
Even as I look at the younger kids today, more and more have amazing ideas, but no one really cares about them.. Everyone hears what they are saying but never tell the kids how to act on their feelings.. Kids are the only ones who speak from their heart and don't care what the adults say... Adults should be that way too, who cares what others thinks, if you really don't like something speak out..
Besides that treaty, I have looked into the Kyoto Protocol, which is to have save the Environment by 2012.. Now that Protocol is going to die after that, and then a new one will come into place, who cares what these protocols say.. We should work towards making our Environment better without a protocol that might not say something one country wants... If we were all just a little more environmentally friendly then this world wouldn't need such a bad protocol in the first place..
The Environment is a huge issue and everytime I look at the Kyoto protocol, I say "Why is it that we are bonded by a treaty that is so bad".. I understand that people who run the major countries in this world don't understand anything about the environment and always need some form of document to make them more forward.. Just stop with all the I will do this and I will do that, you have to start getting tough on the environment, and who cares what one document says just do it..

Economics is a complicated thing, if we did everything for the environment our country probably would not work as a developed one anymore, money makes the world turn these days but certainly not as much as it used too.
I think it's easy to conclude we are the generation to get things done, especially if you look at the underground music scene, and the amount of protests that have happened over the recent months.
Democracy is deffinately at work in the economics department if not on external affairs. Eventually when the rest of the Eastern world has turned green which it has been doing, the west can't carry on ignoring it.
