Dancing for Climate Change
Everyday there is a call to do something new and crazy to wake up people around you to the movement that is happening around Canada. Here are a few videos that have been going around that people are doing across Canada. If everyday we can do this in different places around the city of Toronto that would open the eyes of people.
Why do we need to stop with one dance for Climate Change, why can't we make this a day where we do as many as possible in the city of Toronto? If we could do them at the same time, and have videos of them afterwards that show all the great dances that happened this would be something everyone could enjoy.
The dances in every area of the city of Toronto would get people to do these in public spaces, schools, halls and everywhere else. We could get local people from the area to show up do this dance with the same message, this would engage the local public in the message we are trying to get out.
All we would need to get this started would be video cameras, and just a group of 5 to 10 people who are willing to dance.
If all of this came together in one big movement than we could see the issue take off as "Dancing for Climate Change".
Why not do this during COP15? I know that we could start something huge here and all we need is enough people willing and able to do this.
