New Protests

Why are there always new Protest in Canada because the Federal Government isn't listening to us (the public) in the environmental and social justice movement. There are so many protests going on around Canada and the world that this is hard to keep up with all the protests.

Canadian Youth (Taryn McKenzie-Mohr) makes plea to Canadian Chief Negotiator (Michael Martin) about Climate Change

The only argument that is the same from all protesters is "The Canadian Government is going far enough." When will the government go far enough, when we are a justice, free, and zero emission society. From my point of view(even if I am an environmentalist), I don't even know what that would look like at all. We push the government so far, and protests go far to get the ear of some people but not all people. How do we get all people is to get the public to be able to change fast and easy in their homes.

Since I last reported on the protests that were going on, there has been a number of new ones that I am going to list below with photo or videos.

Andrew Saxton MP Office, North Vancouver, British Columbia

Greenpeace Protest at the Parliament Building in Ottawa, Ontario

The only protest I was not able to get anything for was the one in the Environment Committee Meeting at the House of Commons in Ottawa, Ontario. There is video of the protests talking on CBC but I would want something within the House of Commons.

Do Protests really work to change the course of Federal or Provincial Policy? Please Comment to voice your opinion.
